Ronald Richard announced on August 17, 2012 that he would be running for the 3rd Congressional District Seat of Louisiana. Mr. Richard is the only Democrat running on the ticket, and he felt that after years of service to Southwest Louisiana in his legal practice, he could also serve his area through elected office.
